How is the goni looking tonight Kacy? Did the first aid help? I'm glad to hear everyone is settling in again, and yes it is wonderful when they play nice. Even when you do your research you really never know for sure until they are all together. Always a bit of a relief when it works out as planned.

And yup, keep that Angel fed! We don't want 'em thinking of your nice corals as a snack :).

It is! Especially since I had a dwarf angel and bristletooth tang before and they killed each other off. :-X I was a bit worried about trying it again, but so far, so good!

The gonio looks GOOD tonight!! I'm so excited, I hope it lives through this.

Every night I take it out and scrub it, gently, with a baby toothbrush in tank water. For the past few nights I left it sitting in a Melafix solution. Last night I made an iodine solution and let the coral sit for 15 minutes after being scrubbed.

So far today the gonio is fully open where it didn't die and no brown jelly has reappeared....yet....

Oh I hope it pulls through!!! It's a lot of work, but I'm doing everything I can to save this guy.

    Needed an update!

I BEAT THE BROWN JELLY ON MY GONIO!!! yes! That deserves to be shouted in caps! :)

Got three new awesome coral in the tank, will get photos up soon.

Also got a tiiiiiiiny, teeny, weeny Maxima clam yesterday. The colors are amazing! Once he decides to fully open I'll get some photos! :)

Also, thinking about adding something fish wise...but I am going to keep thinking this through - so not sure yet!

Gonio I saved from BJD!!! (this is an older photo right after treatment, now 100% open again!!) The middle part is where the BJD was concentrated and killed off the coral.
