I love the stand. Are you planning on painting it black or staining it?

Wow, great job, Scott! I think the black looks much better. I'll be doing black for my tank as well. How long did that take to dry?

Well it looks like water is going to have to be put on hold again I can not afford to get the glass material for the overflow box an sump since school is starting again I swear every year these college books go up... $300 for the wife and me to get books.

    Update

I got a small update for ya I was able to get the back board all fitted for all the pipes to run through.

I started by drilling holes in the four corners that would connect the box I need to cut out with a jig saw and then had at it. This was for the three pipes for the bean system.

I was also able to drill the sump for it to accept a 1" bulkhead for the return pump.

I also did two other hole for the bulk head and the fuge feeder off the return pump.

    Thanks,

I hope it turns out really well still some small stuff to finish up I guess I am closer then I though to getting water running.

I should be able to get the glass cut for the overflow and sump either this week or next I am hoping since AT&T gave me a $100 rebate!

Then I can do a water TEST! Finally! 8 Months later.

Woohoo....exciting I'm in the same boat as you trying to get the stuff together for my 113g tnak with a bean overflow. Need to price the materials again, though I may do a narrow internal wier and then put the pipes and such into an external box.

I was going to do an exteranl as well but with the extra supports needed for it and such I didn't feel it was worth the 2"-3" I would save with just going for an internal.
