It would take more time to redo than it is really worth. You won't be seeing it anyway, just put some paper over it if it is really bothering you.

I was able to get some more stuff done I went by a local glass shop yesterday and got some glass made and was able to pick it up later on. I have all the pieces needed now for the overflow box and for the sump baffles. I got a pretty good deal I got quotes from other store at $120 for all my glass but these guys were only $37 way cheaper.

There were two errors though he cut the sides for the overflow to large so I am going to have to take those back.

Almost forgot to mention I also got some plastic screens for a ATS that I am gong to attach to the baffle of my Fuge.

The only thing that I think I am going to change is I want the front and side pieces of the overflow box to be tinted glass which they sell at the glass shop.

I was also greeted with a great present when I got home a RO/DI unit from Spectrapure a 90 GPD unit I am going to set it up to use it for the aquarium and for my drinking water with a little modification to make the drinking water taste better. Also this unit was only $145 with the sale!

    Now the pictures.

it came with its own dual TDS meter to measure the water before and after the RO system.

Nice pick up.. When you say you will make a mod to it so you can use it for drinking water, what will you do? Just add a valve before the DI chamber? I ask becuase I would like to do the same... thanks.

Well from what I have been told by Specrapure you need to tee off after the RO stages and before the DI stages and put a ball valve on so you can control flow so it comes out only on the RO side. Then you need to put a inline carbon filter after that then you can drain it for drinking water. You don't need the carbon filter but it will make the water taste much better since without it the water will taste kind of bland and not have what we are used to tasting.

Wow, this is a really great build. I'm very impressed. Your craftmanship is impeccable. Crazy how long this stuff takes huh? I'm looking at that same light you have but may go 8 lamp. What lamp config did you do, think I missed it.

Yea it has taken a little while especially since I am on a college student budget living on my own with my wife. :D Fun to put together though I think this might be better then it running... lol.

It comes with half antic and half 10k... through some warrnty issues I was able to get a 420nm which is a purple blue and a 12k so the new order is like this from back to front.

    -antic
    -10k
    -420nm
    -12k
    -antic
    -10k
