That's what I was thinking when I saw it up for sale on my local forum! It must be a sub species of the Desjardini to have such a different coloring.

I was thinking the same thing...I had one before and I'd swear they grow even faster than the regular sailfins (sure thats my imagination, but)...

anyway, in one yr that thing will look oversized ...you've been warned he he :cheesy:

Great tank, the stand compliments it extremely well. Nothing like a good craigslist find!

    Update

Well it has been a while since my last update and so I thought I would post of some new pictures.

I have been still adding stuff slowly. I added the Desjardini and had to remove the Yellow for a while since they were fighting a lot. During the process of removing the Yellow I hit his eye with the net so he got a good case of Pop Eye, so the trip to the sump ended up lasting longer for him. After he was all healed up I added him back into the tank and the Desjardini was in charge that time he was showing the Yellow who is boss. So as of now there is a good balance they have there own "areas" and if one invades the others the chase is on but there is no damage being done.

I was also able to finally frag some more of my green zoas off the original rock which was covered with some pests. I cut them all off and glued them to a fresh rock and they are all doing well.

You can also see some good coarl growth in the monti's. This was after a water change so the water is a little blurry, and my camera phone is no Nikon.

    Enjoy!

Nice update! and the monti's growing! Great stuff.

Time to get a Nikon (or Canon or Pentax)?
