Thanks John. He is doing just great and is a little piggy.

Well heres some more of my little friend. Spiders are such good subject matter. They are so easy to photograph. :)You can see the difference in size between the male and female. She is allowing him to stay so she must like him.Otherwise there is a chance he could become lunch.
She has caught herself a large beetle and I am not sure if he is using it as an oppurtunity to "get busy" or if he is waiting for his share of the booty. No pun intended.;D

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Oh is is tiny, compared to her. She looks like a monster. I am sure he will be lunch in not too long, I have never seen a female let a male stick around. Interesting.

    Beautiful lilly, great purple coloration.

Your house must be a noisy place currently.

Yes she has allowed him to stay for 5 days now. She may be ready to lay eggs. I have also been feeding her coackroaches which I can see is unnecesary. She caught a bee yesterday. And that beetle is Large!!
Heres a close up so you can really see him.

The web is incredible!! The gold reflects when the light hits it and it just glows. I will see if I can get a good shot of it.
