Dang really? Makes me think I've been running too much light over my tank. I have 8x54w over it. 24" deep but still. Hmm.

    Tank looks good man.

Yeah, I'm planning on getting some 4x4's to raise them up, or dropping the number of bulbs down. How deep is your tank?

I am running 4 x 54W over my 75 at 11" above the water line. 28" above the sand.

If your tank is 24" wide then 6 would be good for light spread.

Dimensions are 48"Lx20"Wx24"H, but this darn massive overflow in the center takes up about 4.5 inches out of the width in the center 2 feet. I think the overflow takes up about 10 gallons of space total. I wanted to get rid of it but folks say it's too big a pain to cut a built in overflow out.

Vinny, what brand bulbs do you run over your setup?

Right now they are Coralife bulbs. I do plan on switching them out to ATI soon.8) 2 10k 2 460nm actinic
2in10 is a good guy to ask if you have questions as to the correct combo of bulbs. He's been gracious enough to help me choose the right replacements as I wasn't familiar with ATI.
2 Blue plus,1 Aquablue special, and 1 Purple plus.

ATI's are the poop. I was running
    4xATI Blue+
    2xATI Aquablue
    1xKZ Fiji Purple
    1xGE 6500K

Looks awesome. I could swap the 6500 for another Fiji, but it would be too purple for my taste.

Thinking about running these if I have 4 bulb setup-
    1xBlue+
    1xGeisman Midday
    1xAquamedic Plant Gro
    1xFiji purple

    or

    1xBlue+
    2xGeisman Midday
    2xAquamedic Plant Gro
    1x Fiji Purple
If I run 6. I think If I run 6 I will have to raise them above the water level more.

The only reason why I'm straying from ATI is for macro algae growth. I'm looking for more red spectrum and I feel like the Aquablue is inferior to a midday bulb/Flora oriented bulb in that respect.

Straight up corals, go all ATI. They are the tits.
