The drilling just makes me nervous.. What I want to do is buy an oveflow box, a return pump, and do it that way. Just buy some flexible tubing, add a spot for bioballs and sponge filters, and do it that way. I just don't wanna mess up an expensive tank. And yes, I'm doing a peninsula view hopefully since it's got the black side.

substitute the bioballs with live rock. with an external overflow all you'd need is the proper tubes, on external or internal pump whether you want the pump submersed or beside your sump and the tubing to return the water to your nozzles.

With the rim on that tank, I don't think you would be able to put an overflow box on it. Just sayin. Drill the tank.

You're right hadn't thought of that.. I guess drilling is what I'll do. What size holes? And how many for that matter?

Ok I did this on one of my older tanks. Let me see if I can find a pic.

For a 90, go with a 1" hole for your overflow. Drill the bottom of the tank and then use A Durso overflow. For the water returning to the tank, 3/4" would work great.

Drilling scares me... I'd like several opinions before deciding honestly.
