No prob,i got a .22 rifle in a trade that i haven't fired yet,be a good excuse to bring it and see if it blows up or not :cheesy:.And when my 12 yr old hears that i'm gonna fire an AK,i'm pretty sure he's gonna want to tag along, lol.I'll be bringing a little tank warming present as well ;)

    Looking good....
Yes a crew sock works fine...I used one for a few weeks...Just to see if I wanted the sock method...just change it every three days or so...dont let it get all mucked up.
...thin ice huh...been there dude.....I think the ice broke once if Im not mistaken. : /
    LOL : )

It breaks here and there, hence why I wear a life preserver at all times. But thanks for the reminder, forgot to add it last night.

BTW just added some of my LR to the tank, and a few hermits. Not gonna go for a cycle, but hoping to grow some pods out for my mandarin before the transfer and save on having to buy them to keep him happy, Have a batch coming from reef cleaners soon just in case;D

BTW, i used dry rock and dry sand, seeded the tank with a bunch of my live sand, used a lot of water changes to fill the tank, basically, did like 3 10g water changes from my existing tank to fill the rest of the tank after filling it to about 50% and mixing the salt in the tank. Gonna watch for any param swings and see what happens before the transfer;)

Excellent..I did about the same from 55 to 90..basically used all my sand and rock and water then added the 35 or so gallons RODI..had zero issues. You should be fine...but slow as you go ...and keeping an eye on it as you add is wise...you keeping a log?(add, moves, changes, feed) I do recommend that...sounds funky..but it is great to look back on, especially if you have CRS like myself. ; ) everything I do, I make a note...change sock..heavy feed, test,WC etc etc..... CRS meets OCD !! lmao..dang it.:p
