Another +1 on you needing to take advantage of that WM skimmer deal. John has it rated to 120gallons, but unlike most companies, that's a realistic number, you don't have to go double with a WM skimmer. Skimz has the same skimmer with a less efficient bubble plate rated for up to 200 gallons! (WM skimmers are repackaged Skimz skimmers with blue colors and an upgraded VBT bubble plate)

Congratulations on the upgrade!!! Looking forward to the seeing the progress.

OK, after talking to norg, thinking of going the 3 baffle route with miracle mud/kitty litter, with rubble on top and a chaeto/mangrove on top??????

Unfortunately the MF121 does not have the VBT bubble plate.(not enough room, it is very compact) However it still is performing very well!!!

I don't think I would use the mud or the kitty litter. Have heard of the mud fouling over time. I would just do a DSB with aragonite.;)

Nice pickup on the tank. Is that red rock in the pics lava rock? I heard they leach metals into the water.

Yeah, I believe the poster before ya believes the same!;) I have a local water company who is a family friend testing my tank for anything like that, so far nothing. Yet, I'm very slowly replacing it 25 pounds at a time. Just ordered 25#s from reef rocks to compare to the 25#s from marco rocks a few months ago. Just wanna see density, structure, stack ability, quality etc before replacing the rest.;)

Just ordered a free 40#s of sand(pre rinsed);) from reef rocks for the 25#s of rock required for the deal, not bad, $65 for 25#s of rock and 40#s of sand delivered to my front door. Just replaced my CC substrate with marco rocks aragonite sand 3 months ago, so gonna use that for the fuge DSB?????
