Very nice. Is that a corner tank?

What's the egg crate box for?

    It is.

I had a Rock Beauty that I ended up trading, that used to nip at blastos and acans.

Ordered replacement T5 bulbs today from AquaCave. Essentially free shipping with the 5% off for being a 3reef member. YAY!

    1 x ATI Purple Plus T5 HO
    3 x ATI Blue Plus T5 HO

Looking forward to the color in combination with the Phoenix 14k 250w bulb. The fixture is currently running the stock cheapo actinics. Approximately 10-11 months on the bulbs. I'll toss up some photos once delivered.

Nice buy, you will want to light acclimate your corals since you have added about 2.5 times the amount of PAR the actinics had. Those bulbs will have more PAR than your 250W MH! if you are using all 4 of them.

A purchase from Diver's Den that will be added tomorrow. The more that I think about it, the more I consider moving this tank more towards a dominant SPS. We shall see. I have way too much lighting for LPS such as my Frogspawn, Hammer and Torch corals. The Frogspawn sits on the sand and is bleached on the side that's not shaded by it's surrounding rock.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Very nice addition. I think you will find the Valida to be pretty hardy, and more colorful in person than in images. Dingo did it as a COTM back a couple months if you concerns regarding it's care.
