I 'll hold all the monies....lol.../ equipment and contract o this deal lol.

But honeestly ' a tank of that size and shape made of acrylic would be round say 5/6,000?
and with this trade thing, it would take alot more equip,LR,etc thats the real costs.

I would would any one whom did this would be on the losing end of the deal.

Not saying i dont believe the guy

You'd have to fork out some crazy amount of money with no product in direct exchange right away.

If it is true, WOW. Thats alot of work and money for a huge tank.

Wow I didn't know I would offend so many people around the globe.

As far as not knowing what I'm talking about when it comes to the fish or the maintenece side of an aquarium you are correct and that's why I posted up asking the moon, and why not everyone does it to me everyday.

I know quite a few aquarium maintenence people, but I still decided to post this up.

As far as $$$... Did I not include in my post something stating that there could be money involved from either side?

And as for using this post to get business, not true at all. Did I list any website or make any remark about any business involved or hey buy from me?

So anyways, back to the question...

Not sure I understand this but are you saying that you'd be willing to pay this person as well as provide them with a free custom-made tank? If you are only offering a custom made tank as payment, it would have to be a very large tank to balance out the cost of the equipment and time needed to set up and run the tank that you're proposing to set up at your house.

Since I'm looking into building a 1k+g system for a client I can honestly say you're looking at a minimal $20k before livestock if you do it right and don't skimp

We're working on a 50k budget and it's going to be tight if it happens

Yeah a tank that size is gonna be big money. I started helping my friend at work reclaim his 375 from algae and death and spent 2000.00 on power heads, salt, and general equipment. I havent even began looking at lighting replacement etc. Than once the tank is capable of supporting corals i estimate we could drop 5000-10000 on that to.
