Thx, yeah it's a young tank, I see some of these other amazing reef tanks and I want to go hide they're so amazing, that's why I call mine a noob reef. I'm learning everyday, but it's such a rewarding hobby.

Thx, I'm just running a Coralife Lunar PC 4bulb (2 10K & 2 Actinic) fixture 260w total. I know T5's can reach farther down into the water column but my corals have been growing nicely under the PC.

Thx Steve, yeah no complaints from me on my lighting. My goniopora is actually doing much better under my PC's than the MH's it was under at the LFS before I bought it.

Hey, we are always learning but you got right in it and that's the way to learn. You have a very nice tank with breathing room for the fish and coral to grow. When my sand starts to get full of algae I stir it up and let the filtration system do it's job. Make sure you have a fresh floss ready to swap out the dirty one with after the water settles down. That might help. There are red slime removers that work. Otherwise I love the colors of the corals. Have fun!:cheesy:
