BTW sorry about the poor pic quality, all taken with my phone!

    Thanks in advance.

The stars are asterina starfish, usually harmless.4 is a kenya tree coral, crab is a porcellin crab,7 looks like a plate coral almost, mabey monti cap.,9,10,11 looks like button polyps or palys (both are common rock hitch hikers),but much better/bigger pics would help for a more positive id.

Thanks for that. Is the blue star the same as the others?

    Thanks

1, 2 3, 5 and 8 are all asterina stars. I only know of one which is truely not reef safe. The amount of coralline they eat is minute and bearly noticable if it all. They do multiply quickly. If the numbers start getting too big just donate then to friends or LFS.

6 Looks like a porcelain crab. They are filter feeders and a reef safe crab that is great for beginners.

4 is a soft branching coral (ask others for more specialized info)

9 and 11 are zoas hard to tell what species

10 could be trunicates another filter feeder. never a bad thing.
