I see a lot of 3reefers have the Nano tanks. I have really started liking them, and I have been heavily thinking about getting one for my son's room since he loves my 155 so much.I pur just a few corals, LR, and of course, some fish. Probably 2 clowns, few gobies. (I love gobies!)
Anyone have a suggestion on a system that has worked good for you? I'd like to be $200 and under, but like I learned with my tank, better to spend wisely the first time, than poorly for twice the expense.
    Thanks to all in advance!

I went with the JBJ 24g Deluxe for my nano, IMO it's the best in-expensive nano, the RSM 34g is a better solution but it's also over double the cost

I have a Red Sea Max 34 Gal. It's quite amazing the variety of fish and corals you can keep in the stock set up (minus the crappy skimmer). All in all very good tank, very nice piece of furniture as well.

I saw on another thread something about a crappy skimmer it comes with and something about that it sometimes doesn't fit under the top. What did you do to correct this?

Make your own. Get whatever size tank you like at petsmart or petco and go from there. I really like 20 longs, very nice size small tank.
IMHO, the "packages" like nanocubes, biocubes, etc are completely overpriced for what they are. You could design a 20 long with equal running gear to a biocube for under $100.

Hmm. I actually have a 20 long lying around. I just liked the look and all-inclusive fact of the nano's. Clean and simple. Something I could put on my kitchen counter in the corner or something.
I do see your point though, and your reputation proceeds you Packleader and your opinion weights heavily on my decision. Thanks!
