It sure doesn't look good Jesse, as again when an anemone splits, they do so beginning at the mouth in the center of their oral disc! You shouldn't be able to see their messenterial filaments from their base, just their mouth as a result of regurgitation so to speak.

That doesn't look good, as CR said, when they split, they start at their disc, not the foot. It will begin by looking like it is forming 2 mouths then it will "pinch" itself in two. Did you just purchase it? It looks like who you purchased it from just ripped it off the rock it was attached to without regard to removing it safely. Your best hope is to keep your tank water *PRISTINE*, keep the clown fish away from it to avoid any added stress, and at first sign that it is dieing, remove it asap. Best of luck, I hope it makes it.

+1 on it not looking good at all. Color is off as well. I personally would either move it to a QT tank, see if LFS will take it, or toss it at this point. Not worth the risk of losing everything else.
What kind of lights are you using and how old is the tank?

I've seen worse (but they didn't pull through either), but that anemone is bleached out and looks like it's starting to die.

its hard to tell from my angle how close to death it is. to be on the safe side do you have a sick tank set up? once along time ago i had a conde and every where it would rest a quarter sized red/scarlet hermit crab would follow and would dig his claws into the foot of my conde making it move again i gave the crab away. later i gave the conde away to it got to large for my tank that i had at the time. watch it closely and good luck.that conde is still alive and huge its in a 200 gal. tank my buddy didnt do all of his homework and got a octopuss about a foot long all togather and was killed by that conde that happend about a year ago

I was wondering the same thing. The OP hasn't logged in since the day after posting this. It probably isn't a good sign about the anemone making it. :(
