    Finally logged in again today. Been very busy with work.

    Yes my anemone didn't make it lucky i did alot of reading up before i went through with anything..

    I quarantined him and he would just sit upside down until he shrivelled completely and died.. I let it go in the ocean haha. great funeral for my first anemone.

    It actually tore its foot on its own trying to curl its foot around my first piece of live rock which is quite rigid and sharp.. i've aquascaped my tank with a little more rock and provided a few good places for the next one to anchor its foot.. hopefully it chooses one of those places this time :)

    If you have sharp areas of the rock, you could gring it down a bit to remove those edges. I wouldn't imagine that it tore its own foot though, considering how the anemone's tissues are. I would more suspect that the LFS put a tiny tear into its foot when removing it from their tank that progressively grew. Take this as a chance to let your tank mature more before getting another anemone, since they are delicate creatures and harder to keep. Sorry for your loss. :(
