    They look like they would work well to me, but there may be some materials you want to avoid (can't remember any right now). i know that a ton of people use Brute trash cans, due to the fact that they won't leach anything into the water.

    Also, with them being square they may start to bow when you fill them about 3/4 with water, due to the weight of the water pushing on the sides. Thats why round bins usually work better for liquids.

    I use a 23 gallon Rubbermaid recycling can for my ATO storage. My only complaint with square or rectangular containers is they lose their shape when you fill them very full so its hard or impossible to get the lids on. I solved that with a welded square tube frame slipped up under the outside lip so it holds its shape.
