If you were to live along the equator where it is sunny all year round, and you had a tank posistioned so that it got maximum sunlight

would this be sufficent for a reef tank with out adding halides or T5's?

    Any thoughts?

I was always under the impression that any type of sunlight should be avoided. You will have an explosion of all types of algae and who knows what else.
