    Yep. I believe it is just lazy and apathetic employees.I don't understand why owners or manages don't want to look after their investment in addition to caring for animals at their mercy. Tax write offs I guess.

    You are absolutely correct. Whether we catch our own food (sometimes using live baitfish), or prefer to buy them from the grocer, we butcher, cook and eat fish, and throw away the leftovers, so it's really no small wonder that keeping fish in captivity is merely a luxury for one's own pleasure for so many, rather than a responsibility for the life that depends on their dedication.
