Sorry, had to leave earlier tonight. And no, I didn't get a top side pic while I had it out of the tank. I went to flip it over and dropped it back in. and it went behind a rock. Wasnt worth it at the time. It seems the orange shell is larger and exaggerated than the actual body. it is very hard and not spongy at all. I'm thinking it's just a really cool chiton or limpet. Because I really had to pry it off the rock.

I also have a regular limpet that hitchhiked in as well, this one just so bright, I didn't know. But I'm thinking I just lucked out on having one so cool. I don't think it's really going to be a problem. But if it does, I will remove it when necessary.

dowtish, we had our local reef club meeting yesterday, and they have books to check out. I was flipping through an invert book and they had a couple of pages that showed limpets of all different colors in there, including one that, while not solid orange, was mostly orange. Made me think of this thread LOL. I think it'll be fine. The only ones I've heard of that eat something other than algae are some that eat pods (or maybe that was chitons, I don't remember now). Can't find anything on ones that eat coral.
