Very nice growth! That seems to be working for you. The return ramp on my neo nano has become a nice ATS. I scrape it all off like you when I turn my return pump off for water changes. Thanks for posting!

    Aquaricare Products

Just found this site as I was looking for info on the aquaricare scrubber. I bought one of these back in 2004 and then never got the aquarium setup.
I am getting ready to setup a 90 gal FOWLR and plan on using the scrubber.
Mine is 48X12 two 4' fluorescent bulbs above and the mirrored box to help keep all the light inside the box. I have very little recollection of what I paid for it, but I know it wasn't cheap!

I also bought one of his "wave box" gadgets, I really do not know the name but the idea is a self dumping box that fills with water about 2 gallons I believe then siphon dumps to the tank to increase water pressure above the fish similar to a wave to help them excrete like in the ocean.

Finally I bought two boxes of "substrate" from him seems to me this was supposed to help with balancing the tank, I do not remember the story on this stuff and am wondering now if I should use it.

I am more than willing to post pictures of any of these items. I would really appreciate some feedback on the use of the scrubber, as I plan on running it under the tank and not on top as I saw it used earlier in this thread.

    Thanks,
    Scott

WOw. My instinct says skip the substrate, but I would love to see a build thread with the scrubbers. I remember the dump one too - in fact there is a pic of it on the site somewhere.

Please take a lot of pics when you do this and start a new thread.
