    A miner lost his leg in a pit accident in S Africa today.

    The poor fellow said afterwards

    "I'm screwed now! Who needs a one-legged gold digger?"

    Happy Birthday Paul! And to think everyone thought he had died in the sixties; he's one of the last ones left.

    (P.S: Lennon was better as a Beatle but McCartney has had the best (semi)solo career of all of four.)
