Yep, this is how we learn... i admire you for being willing to admit what may seem like a "really stupid or embarrassing thing" on here so that others learn from your mistake.

Thank you for the warning and reminder - I for one, am prone to mistakes like that especially if i get so caught up in a dilemma that I forget the small stuff.

Best of luck with moving on - perhaps you can keep us updated with your new additions as you rebuild your stock up!

+K for luck and a fresh start!

yea 3 tangs but they have alot of swimming space and they were all about the size of a silver dollar and I know the guy at the LFS pretty well and he was going to trade me back my bigger fish for another smaller one to replace it.

Also, I will keep you updated with what I will put back in. So far all of my corals are still alive so all I need to buy is fish. Any suggestions for small fish. I am only looking for just a few small fish that are easy to care for so that my mom can care for them while I am at college. Will be posting pics of my tank soon.

    Wow, that's bummer man..

If you don't get to the root cause and have to deal with again. Next time you scrub it might work well to do a water change at the same time. Siphon out the water you're going to change from the tank into 2 separate buckets. Scrub the rocks in one bucket and do a good shake/rinse in the second one..

Sorry man, that had to hurt. best advice: get back on board and don't fall off that spot again.

Clearly you've never met Chuck Norris.
