Hey VAMP! Nice setup you're planning, sounds like a lot of fun and very exciting! You can't go wrong with MH man, you shouldn't leave it out if you're still deciding on what to go with. T5 with MH's sounds like a very good setup for SPS's. You have a lot of expensive acan lord's, you should do MH to keep them vibrant.

Hi there! You plan looks great so far. I am in the process of gathering equipment to set up my 300g cube 4' X 4' with the same center overflow. I am going to go with all Tunze's for in tank flow - 4 X 6200 on a controller. I currently have a 190 set up that I use a sequence hammerhead pump to run my closed loop. I run it through an Ocean Motions 4 way and it has great random flow but for this new tank I have decided to go with all Tunze's so we'll see how that goes. I can always drill the tank if I don't like the flow and set up a closed loop. For lighting I am going to go with 4 X 400W MH using the Luminarc reflectors and am thinking of using no supplimental lighting. Don't know how I am going to like this either so may be adding supplimental down the road.
Keep your thread updated as it looks like you have put a lot of thought into your design.

Well just started purchasing some stuff today.

    2 Sequence Barracuda's
    1 Sequence Dart
    1 Bubble King 500 Internal
    1 Aqua Controller III Pro

The BK will be here next week once I get that I will finalize the sump and order that then I will setup a large kiddie pool & get the rock going.

I addition to this my wife ended up talking me into a zero edge tank at IMAC, 30 gal, w/30gal sump. If I don't have enough already :)

We also ended up with this RBTA & Onyx Clowns that she wanted.

WOW That is going to be a killer system. More pics, More Pics.

What is that in the second last pic. In the background. Looks like a multistage skimmer/Reactor.

Ricky glad to hear that everythings doing good :)

I took out the forums because my better half kept bitching that she hated it! I really wouldn't have time to answer anything right now, I'm just swamped!

Jason that would be my equipment stand with this stuff:

    Skimmer (My Reef Creations MR-7)
CA Reactor (My Reef Creations CCR-8618 Dual)
    (3) Fluidized Reactors (My Reef Creations 6”x24” RowaPhos, Carbon, Purigen)

Those racks next to it will house my Refugium on top which will flow down into my frag tank below that and then finally into my sump.

The refugium will be great for elizabeth so she can have her sea horses & pipefish that she wants :)
