also these top down shots. someone building the vase wanted a pic of supergluing directly to glass so here they are. the duncan and monti and isauraus frags are glued to the inside neck here, they will plate onto the glass this year and the monti will be a table top only in a few more months. this up high, it gets all the top light, current and nutrients.

It is also bathed in micro bubbles always, another testament to the adaptability of corals within certain ranges.

the clean bowl was build day 1 in early 2006 and the aged shots are from two weeks ago. as of now, the monti has moved 1/4 inch and is touching the glass, with little raised whorls at the tips and base, getting mean

also don't hack too hard on the sandbed, that's coralline not pocketed food or you'd see hair algae in the nooks and crannies of the vid...you know anyones 4 year old DSB is funky so be nice lol
