It's hard to beat clownfish for entertainment value. They have great personalities. If you don't care for the regular looking ones, ORA breeds naked clowns with no stripes and picasso clowns with random colors all over.

Clowns are great, if you want a unique clown, I suggest an ORA Picasso, I have one and love him, but any clown has good personality. I also suggest a six line wrasse. Very colorful and great movement. Also practical. A goby would also be good, such as a yellow watchman.

k+ on clowns. Gobys are great, brown barreled gobies are my favorites.
    3 chromis.

yea i have a watchman now and love him hes great! i also have a true perc clown, now im not sure if he could be in a 30 with another clown, probably not but not too sure about that. also i was thinking about some chromis but wasnt sure how many they need to school guessing 3+. so yea as of now i think im going to be giving my girlfriend my clown and setting her up a little nano with an anemone and clown. and the only fish im transferring to my 30 is my watchman. so maybe 3 chromis, and a 6 line or something like that? any other ideas?

I agree with guitarman89 the six line is one of my favorites..! They are hardy and fun to watch with lost of personality.. We had one tell our anemone made him into the anemones last meal.. Dr. Fosters has 6lines on sale right now to for only $11.. the royal gamma is also pretty but ours is kind of boring...

My new favorite fish, especially in small tanks like yours and mine, is the tailspot blenny.

Small, cute, reef safe, non aggressive, non-jumping, and devours algae.

    What's not to love?? ;D

If your willing to gamble, like I had, I purchased a coral beauty for my 40 gallon reef. Amazing color and I lucked out; no coral nipping;D! +1 with a pair of clowns, black and white are my next purchase.

    Best of luck
