A Perfect Pairing

I did not think such a thing could come to fruition but after reading and studying my two new clownfish the black ice and the domino I realized my hopes of them pairing would be distant. I was able to return him(Black Ice) and get my money back which is a rarity I know. But then went out and purchased a black mis bar ocellaris and when I released him in the tank the smaller domino clown went right to it. They have been together for 3 days now and are inseparable they sleep, feed, swim do everything together.

Its awesome to watch, does anyone else have any fish that have paired so quickly?

yes when they start to lay eggs. i will hate to do it but remove the two tangs and cardinals and shrimp an such and devote the 120 to the clowns lol

these two fish are the same genetics essentially the domino is just an extreme misbar variety so they may have some cool looking spawn some day

It was just the fact it took about 10 seconds for them to pair up one little nip at the cheek and together ever since

 

Beautiful pair, congrats, sometimes you get lucky. It is entertaining watching them interact and pal around together.

Black and white clowns are my favorite.
