You are absolutely right! My most sincere apology for messing up the time frame there. Very irresponsible of my part. Sorry Sam. Sorry Tomita.

    I'm letting this go.

    Enough.

I'm with Curt (and I'm with the couple who have pointed out how he ROCKS as a mod. I agree!) We can all learn a thing or two from him, and from this thread. On the postitive side--well, 3reefers have acted like their courteous selves and preserved the decorum that we mod's work pretty hard to maintain.

Kudos to everyone who asserted their point of view without making a flamefest. That means everyone. Even the edgier posts showed restraint. It's so easy to fling rage. We're not about that. I'm proud to a part of this community for sure.

What _I_ would do and what most people would do varies.

If you have access to her house and she has a phone with lots of speed-dial numbers on it, reset them to call sex hotlines - the 1-800 ones only, no 1-900 ones, since they can bill you direct.

Give her address to all the local LDS, 7th day Adventist, and other proselytizing churches.

    ... up to you.

edit: wait... sam...? bah... unless it's short for Samantha... then it's TOGTFO.

Oh, and a note to all the haters: relax. It's JUST the interwebs. If you don't have the time or desire to participate then please, go grill something :) The Internet is NOT your neighnor, family, friends - it's a digital representation of them at BEST, and at worst it's a bunch of trolls trying to waste your time.

"Sam" screwed up, more time and energy is being spent on scolding him (her?) for that than it's really worth.

Sarah will probably want to reset her password here when she getsd back from vacation. Simple enough they can ban her account and have her email them when she gets back and resets her password.

As for not knowing who is who, this is (again) the Internet. NO ONE know for CERTAIN who anyone is. I could be Hillary Duff for all any of you know. There could be 20 people posting as me, for all any of you know. In this day and age of increased public profiles and purging of private information on social networking sites and forums many of us have forgotten that the Internet is for the most part an anonymous/autonomous medium. For very good reason we should ALL be careful about who we share what information with, and ALWAYS question sources and veracity of anything anyone posts. Don't be paranoid, just be aware.

Again, no one makes anyone participate. I don't enjoy having my time waster either, but I get online knowing that's a real possibility, and ultimately the reality. being helped and being helpful are great ways to use the Internet, but again, real life should ALWAYS come first. If you choose to participate don't get too upset if things aren't what you'd expect.

    That's my 2¢ anyways.

    Hi Hillary

make that .04 cents as I agree

None of this changes how I view Tomita. I like her just as much now as before this happened. She had no part in it, and wouldn't given the post history I have witnessed and my interactions with her.

And props to her roommate for trying to clear this up. Apologizing is not an easy thing, kudos!!!
