    LOL, you ask 2 very debated questions. If it's an HOB skimmer you want, EShopps has a very good model PSK-75h that would suit your tank needs, and looks pretty nice too. I've had mine for over 6 months without issue minus a bad impeller that they quickly resolved. (no charge)

    If you're trying to watch your budget, and a sump isn't in the plan yet, you could still use the HOB later on if you plan on doing the upgrade. This will help you slowly stage your tank build. Later, when you build the sump, you can still place the HOB down there and not have to buy a new one. This is not the experienced tankers method, but if you've got a family and a serious budget (like me) it still works well. Just be sure and buy "hardy" fish and have a CUC.
