    I can say that if you were to re-arange the tank a little and they have plenty of room to hide you might get lucky but I had one for about 2 days and it vanished but it was a hitch hiker so no harm no foul

    I think the reason most places said clowns will be fine with them is they were talking about the common Percs and/or Oc. Clowns. Maroons and Tomato's can get extremely aggressive, especially in small tanks. About you not wanting them in a refugium, there are such things as "display refugiums", they look like normal tanks but have peaceful/small fish and macroalgae instead of corals.

    yep ;D my watchman goby who is "peaceful" still gets after my misbar clowns LOL

    My female clown only attacks my hand. Doesnt bother other fish so far. The male goes after the turbo snails that go into that corner.

    lol my clown hasn't attacked my hand... yet but she's most definately charged at me when i got into her corner. but she doesn't mind anyone else
