    rofl!!!

anyway, i have read that they are communal shrimp, but in more of a bee community... they have one main shrimp and a few others that do all the work for the "queen"....

but i have two that are living with gobies and one that is a loner so that is unconfirmed as of now.

    Hi

    HI,
Well he arrived last week and has moved under a rock, He has built his cave in the very front right corner of the tank, I am amazed at his skills to build and his understanding of moving rock.
He takes his claws and shoves it into an opening over his head in the rock as though to measure the opening then he scurries off to find the right rock he the taps the rock in place ever so lightly its like a jackhammer effect he will pick up the stone if it falls 3 times and fails to stay a fourth time he removes it from the cave. One vein runs up to the side of the rock and the other runs off to the center of the tank.
They seem very determined and also very smart.
He is a tiny little one My guess its a baby , but it will grow ,.
He seems very interested when I feed spriella flake or even shrimp but will only come out about an inch from the tunnel.
I spent 2 hours the other night just watching him work. I beleive he's a randal pistol shrimp, if he last a few months I will look for a correct goby .

here's a copied pic of an adult.
    mine is tiny..

I am amazed at how many animals seem to get along and actually benafit from each other.
