Was doing a waster change on my 100 gallon reef. I figured I had taken out more than I thought so mixed another 15 gallons and added it. Sump drained again. What happened to that 15 gallons of water? In a panic I checked all my plumbing, the crawlspace, between the walls... Sheer panic! Turns out I forgot to close the drain valve and all the water I added ran out into the driveway! Such a dumbass move!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Or the thank god I did not electrocute myself moments. Sometimes I get too casual with water and electricity. Had it suddenly occurred to me that I had 15 gallons of water unaccounted for I am sure I would have had a moment of panic and cold sweats.

The older I get the more frequent those panic attacks happen. LOL.... it's the reason I am trying to go with as much automation as possible keep those cold sweats down to a minimum.

Usually you will only leave a valve open once.....
