So I got the rock cycling in the 55 gal. The 90 gal stand is almost finished, hopefully this weekend. Now as I sit back and wait for time to work on the rest I think of the lonely 30 gallon long under the stand waiting to be parted up for use as my sump...But i need some designs. ...Some Ideas....

But i think that first i need to know what needs to go into the sump....I really don't want to make things permanent until the skimmer comes in. But in any event, what else should i plan for in my sump? What are some good ideas for separating the sump...

    As Always thanx in advance...

This was really cheap to do. 13 bucks in acrylic and 30 bucks for a used tank.

So I am looking around at examples of sumps and some do/some dont have filter pads/carbon/liverock rubble in the tank.

Do i need to incorporate some sort of filtration media into my sump design? I think i can figure something out if in need to but i need to know what should be in the sump..

    Thanx
