A tip for healthy amphipods

    So this is just an observation but my amphipods eat the heck out of my calupra. They are fat and fast. I also have a good supply of mysis growing in there too but never seen them eat. Thought this would be good info to share so enjoy. here is a pic of the eaten stalks. sorry I didn't clean my tank before shot.

    i never heard of pods eating macro.

    i have heard of them eating detritus though

    now you have it is the only thing in that part of fuge and I see them all over it every day.

    i dont even see my pods anymore. i added a blenny about two months ago and literaly see none

    I don't ever see in my DT but that is why I have a fuge they grow like mad and occasionaly you see them blast threw the spray wands and the fish just snatch them up. It rocks.

    my fuge has only been setup for about a week and a half to two weeks so im hoping i can see some rapid multiplication of them

    I have a ton of amphipods. I dont see them mess with my macros at all though. I don't have calupra though. I have chaeto and some form of seaweed.

    maybe thats the reason my grape caluerpa seem to be slowing down in growth, when my chaeto isn't. i think caluerpa grows faster then chaeto
