I had a valentini puffer for 4 days in my 29gal like 2 years ago. It got sucked into a powerhead & didn't make it. :( A couple things I would highly recommend. First before you buy do your research or post your question here on 3reef. Live stock is not cheap or is the proper equipment to support them.

We have all done the trial & error, so look at this way learn from our mistakes & not at your expense. I have seen a lot people get out of this hobby because they going so bummed due to live stock loss or a complete tank crash. Just a quick note most LFS have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to saltwater systems and will sell you anything just to make a sale.

So, getting back to your question. Like others have stated any puffer is not reef safe.

Canthigaster valentini (valentini puffer): Feeds mainly on filamentous green and red algae, tunicates, and on smaller amounts of corals, bryozoans, polychaetes, echinoderms, mollusks, and brown and coralline red algae.

Also, if that is your complete list & highly recommend getting a cleaning crew package.
