What you are looking at is a filterless system, and I only do water changes every few months. I plan to get rid of the puffer and begin with corals again. My tank nuked from my son several months ago and I lost all of my corals. It has been rather difficult to get back into with the huge loss, but hopefully it will work out better now. If you have any questions on the setup or the livestock please feel free to ask.

    THANKS!!

Impressive! I've heard puffers are really dirty fish so I'm kind of wowed with your water changes.

He is... Before I got him, I literally never had to do any changes (and ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates were always 0), I only had to dose supplements every now and then. LOL

Well they are cute though. I'm glad to hear you're making a comeback in to reef keeping

Me too. It's been really tough. When my betta died it was nearly enough for me to quit forever. My son dumped an entire container of food into the tank, and before we could do anything the pumps made the water into a fish food soup.

That really sucks, that puffer is awesome though, find him a good home.

Thanks for all the compliments. I do enjoy the puffer as well, but he is soooo dirty! :) And he has eaten every invert in the tank (snail, hermit, etc) there is no more CUC.
