    I don't think it's a teddy bear crab, because of the black tips on the claws...this is some sort of gorilla crab. And NO, you dont want it in your tank.

    had one come in on a coral i didn't dip and put in my tank. i know bad bad bad *slapping my hand*
    found the coral it was living in and caught it and put it in my sump since i got mixed opinions on it. most say bad, but some say they had one that never caused a problem. mine was hairier and also had black tips.

    all though i only knew it was in there by the hairy molt, your may have just molted since mine wasn't as hairy the day after a molt. it had small black pointy claws

    Thank you gang. After yours comments and own study I'm pretty sure it's a gorilla crab. It's lucky that I found it.
