    Hello..I dont know what is growing on my live rock..that thing is white in colour and has a hole on it..it is kinda soft when I touch it..could it be a sponge? Im sorry if I posted on the wrong section:-/ thanks..

    Agree, a pic would help with positive ID. However, it's most likely a hitch hiker sponge or tunicate, both of which are harmless filter feeders. They're usually short-lived in the low-nutrient environment of our tanks, as well.
