? about lighting for my tank

    quick question guys and gals..for my 20 gallon i just set up..i have 110w of pc lights,

    i also have a 78watts of t5 fixture..

    which one would be better the 78w of t5s (10k and actinic) or the 110w of power compacts(10k and actinic)..

    the tank is about 10" deep..

    bulbs on both fixtures are brand new

    I'd say T5 because I think color is nicer, just IMO
    Plus I hear PC grows more algae but no idea...

    T-5s are much more efficient, probably put out more par and your using less juice...
