There is a sponsor of 3 reef that sells these lights and a lot of ppl seem to be buying them. Check out Reef Breeders.

Comes with 90 degree optics, I'm ordering two, how high do they need to be above the water line?

    Right now only have LPS
    Torch coral
    Hammer
    Frogspawn

And a few green polyps, but plan on doing SPS in the future

You will obviously need to turn those way down.;)
I would do at least 8 inches.

I have the reef breeders led & it's mounted top of canopy @10". Having them set a lil high helps give light a good spread. Mine has 90 optics.

I will definitely have to turn them down initially

Ok I am building my canopy this week before the lights come so I will add another 5 inches or so to it

Why would RB take a month, and them take a week?

My bargain Basement TT's were shipped to my door in less than a week if I remember correctly. Free shipping too- if there is such a thing.
