Alright about to make a serious upgrade in my lighting.
I have mostly lps and an anemone - but would like to get a clam in the future.

Tank is 48 long and 18 deep.

these are the lights I am leaning towards.
VERTEX ILLUMILUX - the only thing I don't like is it's only programmable with controllers (2)
    Or I am thinking:
Reefbright - not liking it all that much

Marineland's Reef LED Lighting with Lunar - this has three settings, I like that option for sure - but don't think it would be enough light. (best price )

Please anyone with experience please let me know - or a better option.

Looks like the Vertex has cree LEDS so that is good, the only one of these I have actually seen is the Marineland Reef Leds and they had to have 2 of these fixtures on a nem tank at my LFS. For what you are going to spend on either of these you could go with rapidleds and do a DIY of all cree.

Yea Kinda defeats the purpose to get two LOL :)
Yea the vertex seems like the best light option - just wish it had a different modes

What are you using right now?
