I have purchased a AC Jr. I was having some issues hooking it up to the computer have itall worked out. My problem is the ground loop issue if I leave it puld into the computer which is not cool and to have to spend 50 to have it gone I might as pay the extra 200 to upgrade any ideas?:-/

I leave my ACIII plugged into my router all the time so I can access it from any internet port. As for your ground loop...you mean your getting noise into the DC4 or
    DC8??

The ethernet port alone on the ACIII is worth every penny to me over the AC Jr. You can do everything over that connection and I haven't seen any ground loops problems so far.

You don't really need to spend $50 on the cable to raise the ground going to the computer over the serial connection. You can easily modify your serial cable to break the ground between the AC Jr and your computer. I do this for ground loop problems (on audio cables) in my home music studio all the time.

Again, though, if you're thinking about the upgrade... it probably means you'll eventually do it anyway. :) Just do it now.
