Acan Question

New to the Hobby and expanding the range of what I'll try to keep. I am interested in Acans. They seem easy enough to keep from reading.

Here's my question...

Where do you find reasonable priced Acan Frags??

It is easy to find super cool ones at more than $100 per frag.

Where do you go for frags?

I went to my LFS & Got a frag for $25.

 

I love acans and have started a little collection. I have gotten mine from my local club or frag swaps. Check out some of the vendors online here, you might be able to get some ordered and delivered. You can usually pick up some frags cheaper if you are willing to buy just one or two heads.

 

Check out City Pets on Beechnut, and some of the local people. I have bought some decent priced colonies from City Pets and I am talking rainbows.

Vivid and Cherry Corals sell small frags of some nice acans for under $100. I'm a fan of small frags, it will take time to grow out but it will conform to your existing aquascape and will get you a nice colony of colorful acans a year down the road for relatively cheap, trading time for money basically.
