    Yes even with just two bulbs if they are in direct light. You have high quality bulbs in the fixture and it is a very good fixture.

    Haha nice to know my wife cant stand the million snails in the tank, when I told her as we fill it in with corals theyll start to disappear i didnt mean theyd get eaten I figured they would just be out of sight

    long thread there what page is your full tank shot with acans?

    Look at the last couple or maybe 10 pages. I will take a look and try to find where I last took shots of the acans and let you know.

    yeah, mine seem to hate when they're in a lot of light. I don't feed mine a lot, maybe once a week, another advantage of them being on the sandbed, they seem to catch their own food down there, but on top of feeding my other corals various coral food, I'll put a crab pellet or mysis shrimp on them every now and then;)

    Awesome thanks for the help guys, do they grow really slow or should I expect to see some decent growth over the next couple months?

    That depends on how much you feed them. If they get fed weekly and each polyp I mean then you will see babies forming in a couple of weeks. If you feed more then more growth. Otherwise pretty slow if no direct feeding.
