    Well i moved to florida and i say alot of things that i get looks from..i just wanna know if anyone can guess where im from 2 ...cause so far no floridans can...

    Crick instead of creek
    'nat like and that
    yinz instead of yall
    mac machine instead of atm
    gumband instead of rubberband

    thats just a few

    Wow, I am from florida (Po'Dink) florida and I only recognize a couple of those words.
    If I had to guess (this is a wild guess) i would say southern Louisiana but I am no vocabulary expert by any means.

    I'm from PA and most people call a creek a crick here too but the rest I have never even heard before. How about Mississippi?

    Correction I do call it a mac machine too..but sometimes I call it an ATM too.

    I dont think anybody beats the southern gulf states.. South Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.. They are just god aweful, and the worst part about it is that 60% think it sounds sophisticated and will almost just snob you because you sound different and talk fast.. Not to mention they take up your whole day to spit out a sentence..
