    Hey all!

    Was wondering if its safe/smart to acclamate the following at the same time. Liveaquaria is offering free shipping now so I want to take advantage. Fyi my tankmates are a clown, royal dotty, bunch of snails and a blue hippo. This is what I want to order;

    Medium torch coral
    Large hammer coral
    Marine betta
    Foxface

    Instead of foxface I REALLY want another tang but my blue hippo is a mean one

    Any help/suggestions would help!!!

    Thanks!!

    how big is your tank? Ive heard marine betas are very difficult to keep, but i have 0 personal experience.

    Everything else should be fine, acclimate away. Maybe do the coral and fish separate as the fox face might knock into the coral in a small space.

    Your tang now shouldnt really be in a 90. I mean i know they can be sold pretty small. but they get pretty big. Look to relocate him when hes like 4"-5". With that being said, i would definately not add a second. Look at a wrasse to add, theyre very nice.

    Marine bettas are extremely hardy and not prawn to ich once you get them to eat. the key is getting them to eat. it is recommended to try to feed them with saltwater feedershrimp so make sure you have some of them, add 2 large fish at once can be a strain on your system ideally I would qt the betta so you can easily feed it. if not it would go and hide in your rock work and make it very hard to get eating.

    I would stick with the foxface over the tang since you say ur hippo is mean.

    have you considered anthias? how about get a tro of them instead of the foxface and betta.

    keep in mind the betta is not an open water swimmer and you will see him in the dark caves at times but he will not be swimming out in the open often.

    Havent really looked into anthias. I will do so.

    Looking for something that is reef safe and looks great, not something that hides so +1 for the marine betta insight!
