acclimated columbian shark?

    can i acclimate a columbian shark to my 55 gallon fowlr and have him with a bunch of other fish?

    i know this is a fish for brackish water but im sure someone on here knows about it:)

    The columbian shark can be acclimated to SW. However, it requires a minimum tank of 70g because of it's adult size and nature. It also will eat smaller tankmates. Furthermore, you cannot successfully keep "a bunch of fish" in a 55g SW tank.

    I'd say even bigger than 70. They are social and tend to not do well unless in groups. So that's 3+ fish that are about a 8-12" each.

    well looks like that ideas out, anyone know of any "mini shark' looking fish i can successfully keep?

    Only if you keep it freshwater, you could do Tri-color sharks (not really sharks, just look like it!). There are no sharks small enough for a 55. You are looking at a 300 plus for any real SW shark.
