I'm going to a frag swap in a few weeks. How should I acclimate my new corals? Few hours a day for a few weeks?

When I had a Kessil A360 I left it on for 4 hours a day, then slowly brought it up to 6 hours, then 8. Then I went back to 4 hours a day and ramped up the brightness by about 20%, then repeated that until I got it where I wanted.

It might have been overkill, but it worked ;)

Thank you, from what I've been reading and hearing. LEDs are deceptively powerful. I'm hearing some people run their LEDS 5 to 6 hours a day, rather than the full 8 to 10 hours a day. That and, in science articles they've said that LPS and soft corals aren't "cooked" by the sun as they are in our tanks.
