I got my 120w Evergrow led set up. I'm running both channels at about 20%. Should I leave it there for a while or should I start out higher. I was running a 150w MH

I switched from a 150w mh to my reefbreeders photon24 which I think are the same fixtures on my 57g and I started mine on 35% both channels and didn't move anything, nor did I have any issues.... I bumped up each channel 5% a week until I hit 75%

Do you already have corals in the tank? You shouldn't be changing the power to acclimate one coral when you already have corals in the tank, it messes with all the other corals.

Is there anyway for you to get a PAR meter so you can ramp it up to whatever output you want while getting appropriate par levels for different corals.

What type of corals do you have/want?

I've got a frogspawn and several different kinds of zoas. Some GSP. Got a new blasto and ricordea but doubt they will survive. Fed Ex decided to ship them a day late. Water was ice cold when I opened the box.

Those corals shouldn't need a lot of acclimation, but it's better safe than sorry.

In my experience corals go downhill a lot faster from too much light than not enough, so I would leave it low and watch for any signs of distress.

Seems like most of my new corals are going downhill. My candy cane has been kinda shriveled looking for three or four days. My bam bam won't even open now. All the old corals that have been in my tank a while are fine.

Could be unrelated to the light of it's only the new corals.

Yeah I don't think it's the light. My bam bam only opens 1of 4 heads. My candy cane looks shriveled. I just tried to do a test on the new water I mixed with instant ocean. SE issue with the Red Sea coral pro. All params are to high to measure. I don't get it. About to give up on corals.
