hi everyone on Monday I'm going to be taking a small trip to get my first fish and anemone.

I'm really happy and can't wait.

i plan on getting my two clown fish
    and entacmaea quadricolor "bubbletio anemone

but I'm really looking for a anemone that my clowns would love.
so if the bubbletio is not it let me know.

the store is about 1hour and 30 minutes away .
should i care that the water of the anemone and fish might get really cold?.
it might be 59 out side that day.

    and any tips for acclimating.

I would use the drip method. Get a length of 1/4 inch tube and a bucket. Dump the fish and coral into the bucket. The most important part of this process is NOT to mix the water from the store with your tank. Take the tube and tie a rock or something heavy to one end using a rubberband. Tie a knot into the tube near the other end. After that is done submerge the tube into the tank. The weighted end will fall to the bottom of the tank, cover the other end of the tube with your thumb to "trap" the water in the tube. Pull the end of the tube you are covering with your finger out of the tank and into the bucket. Once you take your thumb off you should've created a siphon and water will drip. You can tighten the knot or loosen it to control the frequency of drips. After about an hour you can loosen the knot slightly to make the drips faster. After about 30 more min. you can open the knot so it is a slight stream and continue this process until the water in the bucket is the same as the water in the tank. I would then recommend using a net to xfer the fish from the bucket to the tank as you do NOT want to mix store water with your tank. Hope this helps!

Might want to keep the car warm while xferring.

grinder37, others and I will both suggest you dont purchase a nem at this stage

leave your tank running at least another 5 months and then your improving your chances of success greatly IMO

    Just a piece of advice:
Most people will tell you to wait at LEAST 6 months before purchasing an anemone. A young tank will tend to go through "mini-cycles" even after it's initial "cycle" has seemed to finish. Anemones do not tolerate changing water chemistry very well. These small swings in parameters are likely to slowly (or quickly) kill anemones.

Also, what type of light fixture is it? T-5? CF? What are the wattages of the bulbs? You want plenty of light for an anemone to be healthy. What size tank do you have? Do you have a sump? Refugium?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I agree, go with the clowns for now. Their silly antics will keep you interested until the system matures more. Your parameters are fine, but it is the things you can not test for that can be your down fall in a younger system.
